Made the flowery blanket this week for Amy's new baby, am really pleased that I finished it before I had to pack the house up ready for the builders.

Perfect weather! Who need to go abroad? Not me for one.

Our short but sweet holiday

Had a great few days around Newcastle and I finally got to visit the Angel of the North. Went to 3 different lighthouses and met some lovely people. Newcastle is the friendliest, cleanest place I have ever been to.

The blue pot was made by chopping up Michaels worn out vests - waste not want not! The others are just and idea I had for a dressing table set to put all the bits and bobs in. Jenni ordered one for her new house.

My boy!

Im now a grandma! Michael Anthony Eric arrived on St Georges day at 9.30pm weighing in at 7lb 2oz and never has there been a more beautiful child.

• Made a cute little cushion cover from some leftover 4 ply. Am pleased with the results and am now doing a shabby chic one in faded pinks and greens. Started cross stitching again and am churning it out but it is addictive so have to force myself to put the stitching down before morning comes around again

My mum and Jenni - the lump is Mikey!

Hers my Mum at her 80th birthday party with Jen who is blooming marvelous. Had a lovely day. this is a true MSE baby, all Jenni's friends have given her clothes, furniture etc and Mikey will want for nothing.

These 3 arrived last month bedraggled and short on feathers, they are now laying 2 eggs a day and are very contented hens

I made some blankets for friends and started on clothes for new grandson, can't wait till he gets here!
